Love Don't Cost a Thing, without a doubt. So fierce. I heard this on the radio in Spanish one morning, and I'm telling you, nothing's ever gotten me dancing like that!

Ain't It Funny (Remix)

groovemaaan, Sunday, 8 April 2007 13:27 (eighteen years ago)

come on girl put out a lotta singles

Surmounter, Sunday, 8 April 2007 14:19 (eighteen years ago)

i don't know that i've ever heard Ain't It Funny?

Surmounter, Sunday, 8 April 2007 14:19 (eighteen years ago)

"Feelin' So Good". Although "Love Don't Cost A Thing" comes close.

"Ain't It Funny (Remix)" is the one with the once-ubiquitous Ja Rule. I fucking hated Ja Rule.

Roz, Sunday, 8 April 2007 14:40 (eighteen years ago)

"Waiting for Tonight."

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Sunday, 8 April 2007 14:48 (eighteen years ago)

lol Ja Rule... i thought he was the one on I'm Real. Who was that?

omg Waiting for Tonight was so bizarre.

Surmounter, Sunday, 8 April 2007 16:35 (eighteen years ago)

It was Ja Rule on I'm Real. I thought that was quite a good single, despite the loathsomeness of its two performers.

chap, Sunday, 8 April 2007 16:39 (eighteen years ago)

Jenny From The Block, but I haven't kept a really close ear on her stuff so who knows.

Doctor Casino, Sunday, 8 April 2007 16:41 (eighteen years ago)

definitely not "I'm Real", which is a shame because it's the only one that gets play on the 90s-retro station we rock at work. the autotune shenanigans on that track are SO annoying, it's kind of nauseating.

bernard snowy, Sunday, 8 April 2007 20:18 (eighteen years ago)

I'll go with Ain't it Funny (Remix) too.

I loved "I'm Glad" as well.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 8 April 2007 21:37 (eighteen years ago)

"Waiting for Tonight"

Mr. Snrub, Monday, 9 April 2007 00:25 (eighteen years ago)

jaxon, Monday, 9 April 2007 01:17 (eighteen years ago)

so hard to choose! 'ain't it funny (rmx)' or 'love don't cost a thing' or...i think 'jenny from the block' might win this.

lex pretend, Monday, 9 April 2007 01:25 (eighteen years ago)

one month passes...
i'm listening to Lov Don't Cost a Thing right now and it's really buggin me out, how catchy it is. i mean buggin me out good :-)

Surmounter, Thursday, 10 May 2007 14:20 (eighteen years ago)

i can't choose, when she's good she's just so good. i'd probably go with 'love don't cost a thing' too. or hang on 'ain't it funny (rmx)'. or hang on 'jenny from the block' or or or, aaargh, so much greatness!

lex pretend, Thursday, 10 May 2007 14:28 (eighteen years ago)

I really love a version of "Ain't it Funny" but I'm pretty sure it's not the remix, but just the original version from her second CD. All I remember is it's very light-footed and sounds identical to disco-era Bee Gees--and I dont' think there's a guest rap on it, either.

sw00ds, Thursday, 10 May 2007 14:37 (eighteen years ago)

Mind you, I could be wrong about the rap--I haven't heard it in a few yrs...but it's definitely the Bee Gees-ish one.

sw00ds, Thursday, 10 May 2007 14:38 (eighteen years ago)

it's true when she's good she is so good, it's bizarre

Surmounter, Thursday, 10 May 2007 15:10 (eighteen years ago)

"Love Don't Cost A Thing" has the best melody and THUNDEROUS DRUMS. who produced that track? whoever it is, they should've been able to retire immediately.

bernard snowy, Thursday, 10 May 2007 15:27 (eighteen years ago)

RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!?!?! couldn'ta said it better

Surmounter, Thursday, 10 May 2007 15:32 (eighteen years ago)

Definitely her current single, "Que Hiciste." Stupendous chorus. Loving J. Lo in Shakira-wannabe mode.

"I'm Real (Remix)" for life!

Tim F, Sunday, 13 May 2007 00:46 (eighteen years ago)

lol what's that song she sings where she's like "it's gonna be alright" and she's at the laundromat. the video is hilarious.

Surmounter, Sunday, 13 May 2007 00:48 (eighteen years ago)

I have this really good bootleg CD of J.Lo singing on the toilet for about 20 minutes and in the middle is where she thought up the chorus of "I'm Real."

SHUTUP xpost

that sounds fucking amazing

Surmounter, Sunday, 13 May 2007 22:25 (eighteen years ago)

three months pass...

It always kinda bothered me that she had one of the weakest voices in pop but always ended up releasing some of the best singles,so for a few years I was very anti-J.lo. But now I'm past all that teenage foolishness and I'm prepared to give her props for lasting as long as she did.
Oh, and for a handful of good songs as well.
Like Get Right.
And that remix of Baby I love You with R.Kelly.
And Play.
OK that's it.
