The Young Gods...The Big Deal Is What, Exactly?

I've heard these Swiss dudes praised to the skies for years, and years, and years as some kind of amazingly innovative and forward-looking group, but I've never actually heard them until now. I'm currently listening to their forthcoming album, Super Ready/Fragmenté, and, well, I just don't hear anything paradigm-shifting or particularly awesome. They're just an art-metal band with some neat-o electronic twiddling, somewhere between Underworld and Static-X. What's the big deal?
