What about the other dumb comments? This guy strikes me as a trendy fellow who is disappointed that the current trend isn't trendy in the right way for him. Tough luck. Reason #4356 why I don't really ever want to live in New York--its critics bleed with the same shallow snobbery as its champions.

Laugh. Don't get me started about what I don't like about San Francisco!! I could write a book. Still this author's particular attitude is much more New York than SF.

I like this article. It's refreshingly bitchy. There's only so far you can encourage the little tykes before you start asking them to be, you know, GOOD and stuff.
