I'm not sure what you're talking about here: science-fictiony/astronomical themes or the idea of three dimensions, distance between people and/or objects, etc.?

Yeah astronomical themes I guess.

I was thinking of stuff like Parliament, Sun Ra, Bowie when I made it but kind of run out of steam after that and wondered what ILM might cough up.

I think the "Heliocentric Worlds" albums do a better job at evoking space than "Space Is The Place" when it comes to Sun Ra.
