Can't find the Sly and the Family Stone Epic/Legacy reissues thread (what's up, Google?), so here's my recent interview with Graham in Minnesota listening to the new CDs:

Last news I read quoted him as such, but you know, who knows... "readying" could take a long time, heh heh...

Do Ctrl+f on the word Stand! - there's a thread on this here new answers page with a few of us going loopy over the remasters.

Use the Direct ilx thread title search also (and remember that the search engine generally needs more than 3 characters--so "sly" likely won't work)

Here is the Sly Stone S/D thread. There is also a recent Sly Stone collection thread.

Thanks, Curmudgeon. Here are the two previous threads on the reissues (and there's lots more Sly Stone threads in the Direct search):

two years pass...

so it turns out that Larry Graham is the uncle of corny Canadian rapper Drake!? wow that guy just keeps having less and less of an excuse for being so boring.

three years pass...

so I heard some amazing track that I think someone IDed as being by Graham Central Station, a long and thunderously heavy psych-funk number. Aaaand that's all I remember about it. Any suggestions?
