some girls

akm, Friday, 20 April 2007 16:07 (eighteen years ago)

WHY not a full poll?

Cause Exile/Bleed/Sticky/Beggars would end up winning, obviously.

JN$OT, Friday, 20 April 2007 16:34 (eighteen years ago)

Some Girls will probably win. But I voted for Dirty Work, my second fave of the lot.

JN$OT, Friday, 20 April 2007 16:35 (eighteen years ago)

Steve Rogers salutes you from the grave.

JN$OT, Friday, 20 April 2007 16:40 (eighteen years ago)

Goats Head Soup, then maybe Emotional Rescue

Hurting 2, Friday, 20 April 2007 16:42 (eighteen years ago)

torn. I think I really like Emotional Rescue the best - when I'm not digging Tattoo You. I recognize that Some Girls may be the strongest collection of songs and easily would've picked that one 10 years ago...
familiarity -> contempt, etc.

I've got a soft spot for It's Only... and have just recently realized the wtf greatness of Undercover. B&B and GHS have their moments, but they're far and away my least favorite pre-'80. The rest can hang.

bump

JN$OT, Sunday, 22 April 2007 07:21 (eighteen years ago)

Tyoical. Except for GHS's 2nd place finish, I suppose.

JN$OT, Monday, 30 April 2007 08:18 (eighteen years ago)

Typical, that is.
