4 has the locked groove.

Actually, one time I put the LP on, Something was wrong. So I looked, and realised I'd put on part 3 by mistake. I put on part one, and it suddenly felt right!

5. the outside.

StanM, Wednesday, 25 April 2007 12:13 (eighteen years ago)

I would have to agree with 2. Is the 8track presented with each side as a track? My Japanese Import CD has 4 tracks all that are all different time lengths. Wasn't the vinyl sides all 16min and 04 sec's each?

Wouldn't side three contain the "Golden Moment?"

sexyDancer, Wednesday, 25 April 2007 21:27 (eighteen years ago)

I always enjoyed side C the most but never broke down why it would be better than the others.

Ten Years?

yeah, weird. in line with the locked groove, this poll should have it's end date at ∞

16:01 according to the labels, but that's wrong. If I recall correctly, Side One is very close to 16:01, Sides Two and Three miss the mark by 15-20 seconds or so, and Side 4 is a pitiful 14-odd minutes from start-to-locked-groove. Or something like that. (Yeah, I manually timed 'em all, way back when I bought the vinyl => aspie)

Anyone heard the re-issue, or is gonna see Lou Reed 'perform' this?

And obv I approve of the end date for this poll.

I don't think the idea of Metal Machine Trio is to 'perform' the album. It's supposedly all improvised. I think the name of the project is just some kind of alignment with the title of the album.

anagram, Wednesday, 14 April 2010 10:11 (fifteen years ago)

Well the album is being re-issued at the same time as the Metal Machine Trio are gigging so I assumed.
