which characters on TV were you afraid of as a kid?

I can't recall being afraid of any but I am sure that is just my poor memory.

I was surprised to find out that Noseybonk off Jigsaw terrified a lot of kids.

I was deathly afraid of Gene Wilder as a kid, as well a bald James Earl Jones in a red t-shirt on "Sesame Street" counting down from ten to one and then barking what the day's letter was. I'd run out of the room for dear life.

Guy Smile (the children's television workshop, sesame street 'game show host') and Big Bird - really freaked out by there movements - they made a deathly drone sound when they chased me in my dreams.
