It is, though "Not always, sometimes less" would have been more accurate.

I'm including "discussing on ILX" as "talking".

What I mean is that for *some* records the appeal is partly in working out why I might like them, what's going on in them, and once I feel I've got a handle on them - via discussion usually - that side of the appeal fades.

Also sometimes a particularly strong, convincing argument against a record can put me off it. That's rarer.

I still really enjoy talking about music, though, so the risk that it spoils some actual music for me is well worth taking.
