I heard 'these themes three' about 2 years ago and have spent about a year trying to get hold of 'Cinematography'(it's a limited edition of 500 i think).

Those nice people at Rough Trade mail order finally sorted me out with a copy at the weekend, although i was a little disappointed to discover that 'these themes three' wasn't on it.

Does anyone know where i'd be able to get hold of it or anything more about them?

aren't they one of those birmingham bands? kind of like magnetophone and electric sound of joy? i seem to remember that the singer could not sing

Themes These Three is on the Infrasonic Waves comp CD on Ochre. Their singles are all OOP but Norman Records and Opal Music pretty much have all of them in stock between them.

I find Avrocar to be one of the slightly less interesting Brummie "post-rock" type bands but I still like them a lot. July Skies (who just released a great CD on Rocket Girl) feature an Avrocar member.
