Why didn't this album get more love on ILM? It's superb
― braveclub, Friday, 15 February 2008 12:33 (seventeen years ago)
the songs i've heard are great, is it all produced by maurice fulton? love the slowed-down 'voodoo ray' ballad 'i need you'. 'on & on', 'over' and 'until the sun goes down' are really nice, too. yeah, surprising the lack of love for this here, it should've gone down a treat.

Really didn't get the hype on this one. The production was standard Fulton fare (i.e. good) but the vocals were flat, couldn't feel anything. The accapella tracks that act as intros were immediate skips.

love the synth rhythmifuck in 'all woman'. used to play that track out quite a lot, did a nice edit of it at one point cuz the arrangement is all over the shop.

Love Saves The Day, The Fear, Whispers, Paying The Price, A Little Bit More, In My System - a "featuring Kathy Diamond" compilation album would be very welcome.
