Heard Repeater first, so that's the one.

JN$OT, Saturday, 5 May 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)

Argument for me, followed closely by In On the Kill Taker

Zeno, Saturday, 5 May 2007 17:31 (eighteen years ago)

I think i'll go for In On The Killtaker but on another day it would be a different one.

Brigadier Lethbridge-Pfunkboy, Saturday, 5 May 2007 20:42 (eighteen years ago)

Repeater was the first one I fell in love with so it gets the vote. They're all pretty great in their own way though.

circa1916, Saturday, 5 May 2007 20:56 (eighteen years ago)

Kill Taker is just so tight front to back. Gets my vote.

But I really love Red Medicine too.

Johnny Fever, Saturday, 5 May 2007 20:59 (eighteen years ago)

Betcha I'm the only vote for End Hits.

M.V., Saturday, 5 May 2007 21:00 (eighteen years ago)

My ranking would go something like:

Red Medicine
13 Songs
In on the Killtaker
Steady Diet of Nothing
The Argument
Repeater
End Hits

Reatards Unite, Saturday, 5 May 2007 21:03 (eighteen years ago)

And mine:

The Argument
In on the Killtaker
Red Medicine
13 Songs
Repeater
Steady Diet
End Hits

paulhw, Saturday, 5 May 2007 22:50 (eighteen years ago)

Red Medicine for me

stephen, Saturday, 5 May 2007 22:52 (eighteen years ago)

Killtaker, followed by Argument and Red Medicine (with End Hits behind those two, not rock bottom)

resolved, Saturday, 5 May 2007 23:19 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, why so much hate on End Hits?

Johnny Fever, Saturday, 5 May 2007 23:22 (eighteen years ago)

the argument, cos of the two drummers. but every album was better than the one before, i hope they make another one day.

stevie, Saturday, 5 May 2007 23:28 (eighteen years ago)

I voted.

dice in my pockets, Sunday, 6 May 2007 02:26 (eighteen years ago)

the argument

it's just so damn solid

Charlie Howard, Sunday, 6 May 2007 07:31 (eighteen years ago)

Steady Diet. It's the grooviest they've ever sounded.

MacDara, Sunday, 6 May 2007 08:19 (eighteen years ago)

steady diet.

chaki, Sunday, 6 May 2007 08:56 (eighteen years ago)

The Argument for me, closely followed by Repeater. The others all mingle together in my mind.

Scik Mouthy, Sunday, 6 May 2007 09:05 (eighteen years ago)

End Hits

It had two drummers on a few songs, too.

dan m, Sunday, 6 May 2007 09:09 (eighteen years ago)

The Argument.

Marty Innerlogic, Sunday, 6 May 2007 10:13 (eighteen years ago)

Repeater cos that's the one that got me into them in first place and the one i always return to. you never forget your first love.

AmyCamus, Sunday, 6 May 2007 10:26 (eighteen years ago)

from fave to least-fave i'd say:

End Hits
The Argument
Furniture
Red Medicine
In on the Kill Taker
Repeater + 3 Songs
13 Songs
Steady Diet of Nothing
Instrument

jeez, nary a mis-step with those guys. steady diet was the only record that wasn't in some way a marked improvement over the previous one.

Lawrence the Looter, Sunday, 6 May 2007 14:03 (eighteen years ago)

yep

Zeno, Wednesday, 9 May 2007 12:31 (eighteen years ago)

fuck i missed this thread : (

anyway..it's hard for me to pick. but yeah maybe the argument or repeater for me...but i think end hits is totally undervalued.

M@tt He1ges0n, Wednesday, 9 May 2007 15:22 (eighteen years ago)

also, looking at that list...man fuck everything fugazi was the shit. i don't care how many people think ian is some kinda puritain bore. you fucking make music as great as this and rip live shows like this for a decade plus.

M@tt He1ges0n, Wednesday, 9 May 2007 15:23 (eighteen years ago)

End Hits revisionism starts now.

M.V., Wednesday, 9 May 2007 16:50 (eighteen years ago)

"Five Corporations" + "Caustic Acrostic" = thumbs up!

David R., Wednesday, 9 May 2007 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

upon its release the consensus seemed to be that end hits was their best. why so low here?

Lawrence the Looter, Wednesday, 9 May 2007 17:34 (eighteen years ago)

I'm kind of suprised that so many think The Arguement was their best, then again I voted for Steady Diet of Nothing. All of Fugazi's albums are good, but I'd rate it behind most of their other records.

When Steady Diet of Nothing first came out, I didn't like it but a year to two later I became obsessed with that CD and have probably listened to it twice as much as any other Fugazi album except 13 Songs. Stacks and Reclamation are two of their best songs. Steady Diet might be second to Arpeggiator as their best instrumental.

earlnash, Wednesday, 9 May 2007 23:01 (eighteen years ago)

man, i voted for red medicine. i love the argument, but it's definitely not my favorite. experimentation + sheer righteous punk rock anger = oh man.

Emily Bjurnhjam, Wednesday, 9 May 2007 23:14 (eighteen years ago)

Seconded.

Steady Diet is my driving around angry cassette tape though.

Hurting 2, Thursday, 10 May 2007 00:13 (eighteen years ago)

Hmmmmm (jamiesummerz), Tuesday, 22 December 2020 18:33 (four years ago)

a (waterface), Tuesday, 9 May 2023 12:35 (two years ago)

maybe

End Hits
Kill Taker
Repeater
13 Songs

Steady Diet
