I don't think it's the best thing Underworld have done; it is better than the original, and it has nothing to do with rock, and it is probably better than anything that does have anything to do with rock made in the last 20 years.

That is a blazing track, Alexandra.......and I agree that it tops the original.....the one thing that hooked me about that track is that descending "trickle" effect that kicks in at the beginning of every bar (i think).......it's a lot like the the effect before the horn blast on Enigma's "Principles Of Lust".......do you know what I'm talking about?.....about masturbating to music, I mean.....Enigma was the executive champion of this.....I remember hearing the heavy breathing part of "Sadeness" and popping a root off like whoa.....I ended up recording it off the radio so I could bust one off to it......so I had my tape, and this was back when I was still masturbating like a girl with a teddy bear between my legs (ILE heads know the story) so thus I had two free hands for the maddening task of rewinding the tape over and over to that one part......plus I had headphones on so it was supremely hazardous.....if mom dukes walked in, oh man.....

Enter the CD player......this marked a new age in my wank-to-music adventures, because you could rewind the sexy parts of a song easily over and over, and record it just like that......I did this with those Enigma songs, and that MC Skat Kat song where the female cat moans "uuuuaaaagh! Oh Skat Kat!" all orgasmic like.....also, C&C Music Factory's "Givin It To You".....the weird shit is, this was a MAN doing the moans......I rationalized it by thinking "Well, he sounds like he's fucking a really hot chick"......but I may very well have been on some gay shit.
