i heard 'from disco to disco' for the first time on that Daft Punk NYE '98 Essential mix but never knew anything about them so had always assumed it was classic authentic NY/Chi house. still the 06 remixes are nice enough.

Never knew they had done a full album - and didn't know that Justus Koehncke was involved. Album still sounds fresh.

it was a minor hit here in the Netherlands, but I had no idea it spent nine weeks at number one in Italy!

can’t say that I felt it sounded like the future, but it did sound like nothing else around at the time (Theo Parrish and Moodymann had barely started and I wasn’t aware of them yet) and it still sounds perfectly at home in the now
