it's kinda neat. sorta reminds me of Beta Band. modern psych type shit, but not corny. first song has really distorto bass & drum machines and almost sounds nu rave :-0

idk, i feel like I'm not supposed to like it, but it felt like he was paying tribute to Phil Spector without fetishizing his sound (see: Pipettes). I imagine others might disagree?
