Paul Haig
Ex Josef K, Paul Haig returns with an electronic-pop-rock sound:
Listen to new tracks on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/roboc11
the track: reason sounds similar to Edwyn Collins meets Thomas Dolby or Pete Shelley in the early 80s
the track: thieves is more electro with a moody John Foxx / David Bowie type sound
the track: maybe sounds like Lou Reed crossed with a melodic Shriekback sound
Single by Paul Haig 'Reason' (ROL 014) on June 4, followed by the CD album 'Electronik Audience' (ROL 015) on June 11.

I like "Reason" a lot but suspect that there's a bit of Franz Ferdinand reverse influence going on in there.
I never saw those Rhythm of Life canned peaches in Sainsbury's; any chance that he might still be persuaded to manufacture them?

I wonder if the record label will enter the album into the mercury music prize?

Depends whether they can afford the entrance fee, so I imagine they'd have to shift quite a few copies.
