I couldn't find a thread for this lot already. I'm guessing most of you have heard "what am i fighting for"? Is it loved on ILM or snubbed? I have to say I love it.

it's all one word so as not to confuse people with UNKLE or The Jam. the single is a catchy grower.

I love Unklejam...Stereo is my favorite of theirs, I've been listening to it like a fiend since I heard it early this year.
WAIFF has a terrific video, and the Steve Mac mix is worth a listen. Apparently their album has been delayed and won't be coming out until September, which is too bad but at least its something to look forward too.

The new song made me think of Sylvester the first time I heard it. Which is a pretty great thing. Don't know if I'll still feel the same after I've heard it 890480348930 times, but at the moment its my New Favourite Thing.

The album never got a proper release but there are promo copies available on Ebay and Amazon. I got a copy a long time ago and really like the album. I always though Stereo was a strange choice of third single, songs like Go or Hello sound like more obvious hits. My favourite song is Luving U, I love the chorus.

hmm .. personally i prefer Stereo over the cluttered Hello.clearly something just did not click with the masses re this band, and yet, a very similar kind of sound is currently doing very well for cee-lo.

I really love Stereo but to me it sounds more like an album track and not a hit single.
Yeah I'm not sure why they didn't catch on. When What am I Fighting For was a hit I thought they were going to be huge. They were originally going to release the album straight after that in the summer but for some reason the album was put back till October and Stereo only managed 101 and that was pretty much the end for them.
