the album is as you might expect, pretty appalling on every level really.... the gall of the guy is pretty amazing, i found myself listening to it part horrified, part in awe that he thinks this is going to be some sort of pr salvage job for his career (at least thats what i think the aim is, cant really imagine him releasing this for any other reason - half the songs are in his 'defence' and how hes been unjustly demonised or something to that effect). anyway, i dont recommend it, but am surprised its not had more press, just for the sheer audacity of it, but im guessing most people understandably just dont want to give him any coverage.

titchyschneiderMk2, Wednesday, 6 June 2007 11:29 (eighteen years ago)

I'd like to see I ALEXIS giving it a full page review in the Guardian. It would be invigorating.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 6 June 2007 11:30 (eighteen years ago)

Seeing as he gave the new R Kelly album a full page review in last week's Guardian.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 6 June 2007 11:32 (eighteen years ago)

So, couldn't he at least have done something a little more special? Like a duet with Michael Jackson, Gary Glitter or R. Kelly, for instance?

Welcome to Vile Pervert: The Musical.

"The most exciting film of the century so far".

It is a ComDoc - a Comedy Documentary. A satire.

This movie and music challenge assumptions. It is unlike anything you have ever seen before - emotionally, dramatically, technically and spiritually.

Homeboy really is fucking desperate to shock.

Dom Passantino, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 23:52 (seventeen years ago)

I could imagine Jarvis Cocker singing that "Vile Pervert" tune.

His online record shop. He has collections of 10cc and Genesis, with a couple of tracks remixed by himself added on as extras. The Rocky Horror stage show album, and a 10 CD JK best of for £8. or is it 8 CDs for £10? Whatever...

Check the 'descriptions'...
