Help me put a name and artist to this song

It's a old soul track, I'm assuming. It sounds like a duet. It's from Undeclared, that television series "Sick in the Head" episode with the Lloyd and girlfriend argument scene. Some of the lyrics I was able to discern were "we're together" "love a try," "won't someone tell me why," "we're for real baby," "what they say, girl", "fall in loooove," "let's fall in love," "what they do," "we'll share love"?

I searched and searched each and every lyric combination I could think of and couldn't find it. All of the songs on google that I found like songs from Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald weren't it, from what I heard. It sounds like the song is probably from the 60s or 70s.

Any help is appreciated!

I could probably rip the audio out somehow, if that'd help.

For people who are interested, the song was "Let's Fall in Love" by the rare soul group Spectrum. I'm still trying to find the song.

hmm...How'd you figure that one out?

I went to allmusic.com and just searched the song "Let's Fall in Love" because of the lyrics I figured it had to be titled that. Then I looked for the an unusal composer or writer of the song. Since there is a really popular version written by dome duo and I screened through all of them to find a song by Spectrum that was on a rarity compilation called "Underground Oldies Vol. 7" they had samples and that's what I heard. Woot! Now I just need to find the full version, if only it was on itunes or something.

sixteen years pass...

Sorry for the crap presentation of this, but wondered if anyone knew who this artist was (slow house electronica type). So this is a recording I've had on cassette tape since 1989 from the John Peel radio show. This is a link to it on my tumblr

Any ideas?
