6. Bart Simpson - Do The Bartman

I played this song on my radio show last night.. I think it may have been exclusive to a local radio station, but I have it on a tape from when I was in 4th grade.. it's called "The Bart Simpson Rap." It has an uncredited rapper doing verses, and instead of a chorus, they just played soundbites from the first season (the only season of the show at the time). Does anyone have any info on this? Some of the lyrics...

No, it's not Do The Bartman.. Bart doesn't rap on it, and it contains soundbites like "I'm Bart Simpson, who the hell are you," "Eat my shorts man," "You think I'm dumb enough to fall for that, I'm insulted," "You'll get that punk someday, Moe," etc. It was released several months earlier during the Season One hype. I've tried doing google searches to get info on it, and I've found nothing.

Sometime in the next day or so if I can find a few minutes, I'll try converting it to an mp3.. I have it on a tape from probably around April of 1990, a local radio station's top 10 at 10 (which also includes Humpty Dance, U Cant Touch This, NKOTB's "Step By Step," and Bel Biv Devoe's "Poison")

The wikipedia entry on "Do The Bartman" is more thorough than the wikipedia for most famous indie rock bands.
