I did a search for these guys and nothing came up.
So Curt1s chucked some stuff by these guys my way the other day, and all I can say is OMG! They're awesome. They're all about the 80s moody new wave - Comsat Angels especially but there's elements of the Chams, of Lowlife, and vocally even the Smiths.
I cannot recommend these guys highly enough Ned and Onimo I am looking at you.

I keep feeling like I have to bump this into new answers. I dont do I.

I'm listening to a track on their web site now. I can't hear any of the shoegaze influence they claim but there's definite Comsat Angels and Chameleons in there. Their press cuttings mention 4AD, Xymox, Wolfgang Press, Bunnymen, Smiths, Cure, Japan, Television, Cocteaus, etc. WTF? Has someone compressed the 80s into one band?
I'll give them a better listen after work when I can turn the volume up a bit.

Theyre worth it! I dont hear any 4AD much either but Comsats, def.

I came across these guys because the guitarist was pimping them on the Chameleons LJ group. They have a great sound; I wish more bands nowadays sounded like this.

I agree. When bands like Interpol came out I was all ehhh.. but these guys are awesome.

Must be thinking of someone else. Anyway we've chatted a bit on Myspace, they seem all right folks.

Seriously you guys, this band is AWESOMELY GOOD.

Listening to them on myspace now...I really like the way the bass is well up in the mix. Seems like they took great care with their production (although I agree with whoever said all music sounds pretty crap/overcompressed on myspace). I'll have to listen some more in a better format.

Bimble I sent you a YSI man.
― Trayce, Saturday, 16 June 2007 04:54 (eighteen years ago)
Well thank goodness for that. I've only managed to grab one song so far today. Chances are whatever you sent will be a different one. I'm not looking for too many, just a few, and if I like it, I'll buy it.

You will love.

Bell Hollow have announced they're disbanding ;_;
So sad. They had such potential, they got that 80s sound just right.
