These bands are playing at the same time at the Austin City Limits Festival in Sept 07.
So, which bands should I see?

Friday . . . Queens of the Stone Age v. Spoon
Saturday . . . . . . . Arcade Fire v. White Stripes
Sunday . . . . . . . . Wilco v. My Morning Jacket

- and of course I'd love to hear WHY for each one.

(so far I'm thinking Queens, Stripes, MMJ?)

I would have said the exact opposite ('cept you can see Spoon in Austin any ole time). Plus I wouldn't go to ACL if Jesus Christ Himself were playing. Too ungoldy hot.

Anyone else?

Queens, Stripes, Wilco - with Queens v Spoon being the hardest decision fo' sur'

As an Austin resident, the Queens v. Spoon decision is by far the easiest for me -- I have seen the guys 7 or 8 times over the years, and they play here all the time, certainly more often than Queens.

I plan to go for Queens, Stripes & MMJ. The real killer for me will be deciding between MIA and LCD Soundsystem.

OH GOD, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM NO CONTEST

Queens, Arcade Fire, MMJ. I saw Spoon live a couple of months ago and was totally bored.

Unless you really don't like their music (in which case I guess it wouldn't be much of a conflict), the Arcade Fire are really fun live.
