What do you think of Jennifer Gentle's "The Midnight Room"?

Or Jennifer Gentle in general? A friend played The Midnight Room for me last night, and I was impressed!

I had never heard of Gentle before - this has a kind of creepy, Renaissance Fair feel to it.

Thoughts?
