I just picked up the Voice album, and it's pretty off the wall. Lots of noise, great weird vocal stuff, incredible textures, a good overall sense of composition that sounds remarkably spontaneous. But this album is all I know of her work. What else of hers is good? Fe-mail? Collaborations with Jazzkammer? SPUNK?
There was a pretty interesting article on her in the April 2007 Wire, I think, in which she had some cool things to say about noise.

Voice is by far my fave, but parts of the SPUNK records are good, very kitchen sink approach. Fe-mail is pretty good, though nowhere near as sonically interesting for me as Voice. I think what I like most about her is the idea that she has a lot of fun in her music, that she doesn't mind fucking w/people a bit.

That's one thing I really love about Voice, too -- it's a hell of a lot of fun. Any time I play it I have this huge smile on my face the whole time (though that may be true for most of the music I really love). It's also not a bad counterpoint to people who might be put off by the "seriousness" attributed to experimental/out-there stuff. Kind of like Boredoms in that regard -- they sound like they're having a blast.

I listened to Voice today for the first time, and was struck by just how playful it was. It sounds 'experimental' in the best sense - as in, 'hey, let's try this and see how it comes out.'
