And the Reverend-sanctioned pick this week is "Robi Rob's Boriqua Anthem" by C + C Music Factory. As tempting as "No Diggity", "Let Me Clear My Throat", "Da Dip" "C'Mon N Ride It" and "The Chicken Dance" are, I have to go for the most underratedest single of evar.

The Reverend, Saturday, 30 June 2007 18:34 (eighteen years ago)

they must have been losing it by Vol. III - I only remember three of these (and from junior high dances no less).

Quad City all the way.

milo z, Saturday, 30 June 2007 18:34 (eighteen years ago)

yeah "The Train" wins, easily

Curt1s Stephens, Saturday, 30 June 2007 18:52 (eighteen years ago)

Oh God, the kick-off of the mega mixes.

Eric H., Saturday, 30 June 2007 19:08 (eighteen years ago)

The Macallan 18 Year, Monday, 2 July 2007 17:09 (eighteen years ago)

da dip is tempting but its no diggity for sure. so awesome.

original bgm, Monday, 2 July 2007 19:07 (eighteen years ago)

"C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)" - Quad City DJ's = greatest single of the 1990s. So that one.

Kevin John Bozelka, Monday, 2 July 2007 19:33 (eighteen years ago)

Never heard this one: "Supersonic" - Sabrina Sang

Was she Samantha Sang's daughter? Is this a JJ Fad cover?

And wow! Apart from that fuckin' awful no-it-soooo-does-NOT-sound-like-The-B-52s "Ready To Go," I love every single song here.

Kevin John Bozelka, Monday, 2 July 2007 19:35 (eighteen years ago)

da dip

princess leia in the video

Gukbe, Monday, 2 July 2007 20:46 (eighteen years ago)

Supersonic is probably the low point of the album, the JJ Fad version (or the Oasis version) would have been much, much better.

musically, Monday, 2 July 2007 20:59 (eighteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

ILX System, Monday, 2 July 2007 23:01 (eighteen years ago)

I can't believe I'm not voting for DJ Kool, but: "No Diggity."

If Timi Yuro would be still alive, most other singers could shut up, Monday, 2 July 2007 23:24 (eighteen years ago)

The way track 12 segues into "Let Me Clear My Throat" makes it even better. I'm also voting for No Diggity though.

The Reverend, Tuesday, 3 July 2007 23:59 (eighteen years ago)

Is it weird that I know the words to the "It's Awesome Baby!" intro?

musically, Wednesday, 4 July 2007 00:03 (eighteen years ago)

No, not at all.

The Reverend, Wednesday, 4 July 2007 00:24 (eighteen years ago)
