this was in somebody's folder on slsk (don't remember the username:-/) with a bunch of other random songs, but was mislabeled as "There She Goes" by The La's, which it is clearly not. i like this song, it sounds vaguely familiar and i want to figure out the title and who it's by.

He does sing "there she goes" so it could be called that. (there are 184 items when you search for songs called that on AMG)

I had to look that up cos I couldn't remember a song by the (English) Beat called that. Turns out that it's by some imposters called the (Paul Collins) Beat and was apparently on the Caddyshack soundtrack. Length=2:41 - does that help?

I think (Paul Collins) Beat predated the (English) Beat.

And yes Paul Collins Beat were one of the top power pop bands!
