A general purpose thread for that funloving Japanese band BORIS

Also what is the deal with the "I Am the Walrus" cover with Merzbow? Label, info, anything? I've got an mp3 but there's nothing informative in the tags besides artist and title.

I'm interested in hearing more from this band, but what I've heard varies pretty widely. In particular, I'm looking for the more experimental, droney, ambient-doom stuff rather than the faster, more-or-less conventional guitar rock. I imagine I'll get into all of their stuff pretty soon, it all sounds pretty cool, but I'd like to start with the spacier stuff. Any good records to start with? Of course I'd prefer the more readily available albums as opposed to the expensive, limited edition records that seem to mentioned all the time.

I Am The Walrus/Groon 12" is on Hydrahead. There was 5 or 5 different colour vinyl versions and the artwork is a tribute to YES.
