Oh man how can I choose. I guess commodores gets it as it's my fave track of theirs.

I would imagine that if you assembled three CD players and played the Hendrix/Commodores/Brotzmann albums simultaneously "Zaireeka"-style, it would sound just like electric Miles at its noisiest...

Anyways, "Machine Gun" is the single best BoG recording, with maybe Jimi's best-ever solo and those lovely wordless harmonies vocals. (Ghostly - that's the only word for them.) But it's only been a few months since I proclaimed the Commodores hit one of the "four greatest singles ever" on another thread; so if I change my answer now, it's bye-bye credibility. Anyways, I can't get enough of those lethal '70s minimoogs...
