I will not play Guitar Hero until "She Sells Sanctuary" is on the list

Curt1s Stephens, Thursday, 12 July 2007 17:38 (eighteen years ago)

This list doesn't seem immediately as good as some of other games but Heat of the Moment and Hold on Loosely seem like fun.

And round n round and nothing but a good time obv.

The Guitar Hero game almost single-handedly got me to reduce my trips to BestBuy. They had it mounted on a set right at the end of the record section and there would always be one or two children -- or older people who looked like children -- playing it, whatever time you went into the store.

A real morale destroyer. Worse even than the thug who rushes up to greet you everytime you come through the door in order to discourage shop-lifting.

A real morale destroyer

Why?

Wrathchild should be on any future "Bass Hero" game (which will never happen). One of the great basslines of all time, just awesome.

Bill Magill, Thursday, 12 July 2007 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

Many reasons. A short list: Silly-looking toy guitars, various degrees of ineptitude, getting in the way, what one does in the bedroom ought to stay in your bedroom...

Gorge, Thursday, 12 July 2007 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

Uh, you guys have heard about Rock Band, right?

jon /via/ chi 2.0, Thursday, 12 July 2007 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

The Fender Stratocaster replica guitar controller, which features 10 frets and an effects switch.

Features (!) ten frets and an effects switch.

Over in aisle 4, a knock-off Gibson guitar, actually made from wood, some of it ply, manufactured in China with love and slave labor, along with a practice amp, for $135.00.

Cult of Personality was re-recorded by Living Colour for GHIII which comes out in a couple of months.

Oh, someone's offended. Their favorite consumer electronic entertainment crapware has been dissed.

Gorge, Friday, 13 July 2007 02:44 (eighteen years ago)

Oh, someone's offended. A stranger in a discussion of the 80s-themed sequel to Guitar Hero has jokingly posted a two-word request that they be banished from an internet message board.

I'm reinstalling my funnybone right now. It had fallen out.

Gorge, Friday, 13 July 2007 02:52 (eighteen years ago)

one year passes...

We got this in an easter basket this year but it was for ps2. Is it worth exchanging it for ps3 version?
