S : Clap Your Hands, French Kiss, Club Lonely, Blackout, I Called U and a few more.

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of tracks, though.

Personally, French Kiss always struck me as over-rated. That orgasm breakdown just seems kinda gimmicky. BUT ... Club Lonely and Blackout are great. I Called U is tops too.

I have really been digging the More Is Less mix of Music Saved My Life. The Music Saved My Life and Club Lonely 12"s have been getting a good chunk of play lately.

I can't hate French Kiss too much because it was one of those signature records that Derrick May ALWAYS dropped in Detroit back in the day. When I hear it I think of driving through Greektown listening to it on WJLB. Don't know why, but that is what I think of when I hear that track.

That being said, I know where there is a cheap used copy in pretty good shape and I have picked it up and put it back on probably six separate occasions. I never can bring myself to actually buy it.

Wait , don't get me wrong here ... I'm ALL FOR orgasms in the middle of tracks .. but why's homeboy gotta slow that shit down for like 3 minutes?! I mean, what the hell are you supposed to do when that joint gets played in the club?

On a sidenote, I always thought it would be HEE-larious if someone would come up with a male orgasm version of French Kiss.

Holmes was smart, he knew people would get tired from jacking their body to the house music all night long, French Kiss gives you the opportunity to recharge your batteries by grinding on a trashy broad for like three minutes straight.

quite often i think that if "french kiss" didn't have the orgasm and the slowdown it would be the greatest house/techno tune ever.

you know, there are four other mixes of french kiss that don't slow down or have the orgasm.

i think "from the mind of" is pretty much gold. how could you like "french kiss" better w/o the breakdown, though?? i always thought the one problem with "from the mind of" was the lack of breakdown on "french kiss"
