i think australians should be exempt from having to love abba, because we had to endure the soundtracks to muriel's wedding and priscilla, queen of the desert in very close succession, played in every shopping centre, and just everywhere. it was great the first 411 times, ok the next 209, but now i'm tired. i don't want no abba no more. thank you.

ive been struggling to come up with a real example of this, because I know it does exist... the closest I can think of is some jazz/soul artists in the 70's but that is more like 'the twenty-third album was disco!!! I can't listen to this shit!!!'
