Your Reactions to People Wearing Band Tee Shirts

After doing the other thread, I was reminded of how I've reacted to other people's shirts...

To a guy who was a cashier at Tower Records wearing a Tabula Rasa by Einsturzende Neubauten shirt:

"I WANT THAT SHIRT...even though I don't like that album very much..."
"What? It's a great album."
"Yeah...I like their earlier stuff a lot more."
"Oh, you like their 'noisy' stuff, huh?"
"Yeah."

And then there was this conversation over a Killing Joke shirt with a guy I know infront of about 20 other people I know...

"Aja!"
"What??"
"Look."
"No, I have to go."
"LOOK!!"
"(Gasp) Oh my GOD!!! I want that shirt!!"
Silence and blank stares at me from everyone
"I want that shirt!"
"Ok. I'll give it to you next time I see you."
"That's a whole 'nother month! I can't wait that long. Where do you live?"
"Uh..."
"I will go to your house and get it."
"mmm"
"When you're sleeping, I will take it from you!!"
"No, no...that's ok..."
"I want that shirt!"
And then I left the room

That was like 3 or 4 months ago...I've seen the guy maybe 2 times since this conversation...He did say sorry about forgetting to give it to me last time I saw him...Hopefully he'll remember next time!! :)

Guy in Can "Future Days" T-shirt walks past.

Me:But his band are so boring, they sound like they only listen to the Libertines and Blur! It makes a really good t-shirt though, that cover? Right?

Friend: I suppose.

Me: I mean, why would he buy that t-shirt unless he likes CAN? Unless he likes CAN.

Friend: Maybe he likes CAN.

Me: Maybe....

I don't like how they advertise your music taste, but then I have a Phoenix one and and Animal Collective hoodie and t-shirt and I love them both. But nobody realises they're band things but me.
