What are some actually soulful Rap songs that use Soul samples? This question was inspired by a line in Vadim's review of J Dilla's Donuts: "...soul clips disassociated from soul."
One song that comes to mind is Ghostface Killah's "All That I Got You", which has to be one of the most moving Rap songs.
Another question - Have any Rap songs ever made you cry, or moved you deeply?
And what's missing from today's R&B music? Is there too much of a Hip-Hop influence? Are the singers too young/inexperienced to sing/write about love/heartbreak with enough conviction?
