I just got my hands on a German copy of Sadie Loves' live disc; Wheres Sadie Love? and I must say that this disc blows me away. This disc is what rock and roll is supposed to be.The songs are right from the heart. The playing is from the soul.Tracks like "What would you say",and "Slip Away" are stellar.Bonus tracks include live stuff from Jimmi Shelters' former band Electric Bizarr.....great stuff. Does anyone else have an opinion on this disc, or any thoughts on Sadie Love? Overated or underated?

I think Sadie Love is very under rated! They have been around for awhile and are still very much a cult band.Pity for the masses!I consider them one of the best kept secrets in the music biz.

I've never heard that boot, but I do own "This Parade" (which includes What Would You Say) and I happen to think it's their best release. Maybe I feel this way since it's much more acoustic based and very removed from rock.

The singing is more relaxed and the use of a wider range of instruments such as mandolin, banjo, accordian and congas add such a rich texture to the tracks. Plus, Rigo's drumming is really tasteful throughout. Do you know if he is the drummer on the bootleg you have?

The lyrics may not be as good as the lyrical content of their first two albums, but what can you expect when the band's primary songwriter suffered from a traumatic head injury?

Brian, I do beleive Rigo "Gonzo" Goanzalez is the drummer on this boot. I have followed Sadie for a while now, but still don't know to much about them. I do know that they have had a tendency to switch drummers for reasons that I do not know.I have also heard that Jimmi Shelter my release a disc of home recordings. If anyone can supply me some more info on Sadie Love I would be very grateful.
