A vote for anything besides "Ride Wit Me" is a vote for terrorism.

musically, Saturday, 4 August 2007 00:32 (eighteen years ago)

lol @ half the tracks on this album being the sloppy-seconds non-hits of artists that were on Now 6

Curt1s Stephens, Saturday, 4 August 2007 00:33 (eighteen years ago)

Mystikal, with a close second to the last great Aerosmith jam.

If Timi Yuro would be still alive, most other singers could shut up, Saturday, 4 August 2007 01:02 (eighteen years ago)

THESE ARE ALL AWESOME:

Samantha Mumba : "Baby, Come Over (This Is Our Night)"
Jennifer Lopez : "Play"
3LW : "Playas Gon' Play"
Nelly featuring City Spud : "Ride Wit Me"
Mystikal featuring Nivea : "Danger (Been So Long)"

the last great Aerosmith jam.

oh god I hate that song

Curt1s Stephens, Saturday, 4 August 2007 01:45 (eighteen years ago)

1. Nelly featuring City Spud : "Ride Wit Me"
2. Jennifer Lopez : "Play"
3. Janet Jackson : "All for You"
4. Britney Spears : "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know"
5. City High : "What Would You Do"

This is about half good, half I've never heard of, and half horrible. Which makes it one of the better volumes so far.

The Reverend, Saturday, 4 August 2007 01:54 (eighteen years ago)

Somehow I've ended up voting for American Hi-Fi, but really, this one is especially packed with songs I couldn't stand at the time - "Survivor," "Jaded" and the Lifehouse song especially. TS: "I'm not gonna diss you on the Internet" vs "Cause I'm the one that jaded you" for stupidest lyric of 2001....

"Let Me Blow Ya Mind" wasn't bad but it was played to death.

Doctor Casino, Saturday, 4 August 2007 02:14 (eighteen years ago)

Mystikal owns, with Aerosmith and Lifehouse battling for a very distant second.

(I can't believe that last part either, but it's true).

rogermexico., Saturday, 4 August 2007 02:24 (eighteen years ago)

A vote for anything besides "Ride Wit Me" is a vote for terrorism.

seconded. everything else on here is pretty much crap except for this, which is really ace.

the table is the table, Saturday, 4 August 2007 02:39 (eighteen years ago)

"Danger!...Stephen Karp!"

gigabytepicnic, Saturday, 4 August 2007 02:41 (eighteen years ago)

I really liked "What Would You Do?" at the time, but there's no way in hell I can not vote for pre-9/11 Nelly

xpost: haha, I didn't even see the terrorism thing; Nelly as reflection of post-9/11 American mindset shift is just sort of a running gag with one of my friends

bernard snowy, Saturday, 4 August 2007 02:42 (eighteen years ago)

Another awful collection of songs (the Americans have usually just been into the worst of 00s music), but "All For You" is a classic 80s sounding disco-song, so I voted for that one.

Geir Hongro, Saturday, 4 August 2007 08:15 (eighteen years ago)

The Britney song is ass. Voting for Eve.

Christyles, Monday, 6 August 2007 06:03 (eighteen years ago)

Eve & Gwen by miles

Jeff W, Monday, 6 August 2007 09:20 (eighteen years ago)

And miles.

Alba, Monday, 6 August 2007 12:20 (eighteen years ago)

The Aerosmith song has aged better than lots of the stuff on this collection. Mystikal and Janet would probably tie for second behind Nelly.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Monday, 6 August 2007 13:02 (eighteen years ago)

Eve & Gwen. Good Times.

C. Grisso/McCain, Monday, 6 August 2007 18:31 (eighteen years ago)

DANNNNNGER

deej, Monday, 6 August 2007 18:42 (eighteen years ago)

deej, Monday, 6 August 2007 18:42 (eighteen years ago)

These songs are all horrible!

Mr. Snrub, Monday, 6 August 2007 19:56 (eighteen years ago)

I was gonna go with Mystikal until I realized "Ride Wit Me" was on it.

da croupier, Monday, 6 August 2007 20:15 (eighteen years ago)

mandy moore sings??

sunny successor, Monday, 6 August 2007 20:16 (eighteen years ago)

Ride Wit Me twelfthed.

Steve Shasta, Monday, 6 August 2007 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

Flavor Of The Weak

billstevejim, Monday, 6 August 2007 22:52 (eighteen years ago)

"he's too stoned, Nintendo" is still the worst lyric of all time

bernard snowy, Monday, 6 August 2007 22:54 (eighteen years ago)

This is true.

billstevejim, Monday, 6 August 2007 22:56 (eighteen years ago)

Man this is a weak album.

Cunga, Monday, 6 August 2007 22:58 (eighteen years ago)

Oh man, how did I miss "Danger" in that list? I love "Danger"!

Doctor Casino, Monday, 6 August 2007 23:41 (eighteen years ago)
