"love & other crimes" - "house song" is one the saddest songs ever.

zappi, Monday, 6 August 2007 17:51 (eighteen years ago)

Back On The Street Again would be my vote solely for "Your Thunder And Your Lightning" but I gotta go with Cowboy In Sweden

Elvis Telecom, Monday, 6 August 2007 18:22 (eighteen years ago)

Nancy and Lee by a million miles, but if you didn't count that it would def. be between Cowboy in Sweden and The Very Special World of Lee Hazlewood.

Davey D, Monday, 6 August 2007 18:32 (eighteen years ago)

Nice poll though.

Cowboy in Sweden is one of my fave albums evah, so i gotta go with that. although Love and Other Crimes is great, too.

Cowboy in Sweden

zeus, Monday, 6 August 2007 22:33 (eighteen years ago)

Looks like "Cowboy in Sweden" is a cert! "Love and Other Crimes" runs it close - even down to having some of the same songs ("Cowboy in Sweden" is kind of a compilation, y'see)

Tom D., Tuesday, 7 August 2007 08:40 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah "Cowboy in Sw." is gonna win this by a mile, but let's give a special shout to 'Requiem for an almost lady'

baaderonixx, Tuesday, 7 August 2007 08:42 (eighteen years ago)

maybe it should have been "best track in cowboy in sweden" poll..

Zeno, Tuesday, 7 August 2007 13:45 (eighteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

ILX System, Tuesday, 7 August 2007 23:01 (eighteen years ago)

I voted for 'Something Special' (well, actually, that complete MGM recordings thing.) That was the first of his I listened to on Sunday, after I heard. It sounded great as always.

I missed this. Probably wouldn't have voted for Nancy & Lee Again myself, but it's a shame it didn't get any votes, there are some amazing songs on there.

emil.y, Thursday, 9 August 2007 01:31 (eighteen years ago)

who voted for "cake of death".and why?

Zeno, Thursday, 9 August 2007 01:32 (eighteen years ago)

Dang it, I should have voted for The Cowboy And The Lady just to make sure it got a vote.
