Hmm...I don't know...

I think Peter Murphy has a much better voice, but I'm going to have to say that I like Eno's songs more. Yeah.

What about you??

Brian Eno's "Third Uncle" is sexier than Peter Murphy's version.

Long ago it would've been Murphy in a heartbeat but it's Eno's music that makes me play it much more often (the vocal work, that is).

Well, I've never actually had a poster of Brian Eno extracting a wedgie plastered on my walls, so maybe Murphy wins.

That said, Eno is as big an Early Yares groupie as me, so maybe he has better taste.

Oh wait, are we supposed to be talking about their music?

I'll take Murphy. Not that his music is in any way worth listening to, understand, but only because it's so heinously unfair a mismatch.

...or peregrined, even.

t**t, Tuesday, 14 August 2007 15:24 (nineteen years ago)

Murphy has NEVER worked with U2 and therefore wins.

Soukesian, Tuesday, 14 August 2007 20:53 (nineteen years ago)

Eno has NEVER come up with a title as pompous as "Marlene Dietrich's Favourite Poem" and therefore wins.

henry s, Tuesday, 14 August 2007 21:04 (nineteen years ago)

The best part of "MDFP" is the title isn't the most pretentious part of it. Absolutely classic Murphy overreach.

EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 14 August 2007 21:05 (nineteen years ago)

B-b-but does Murphy have "Swollen Apendices"? Ha!

t**t, Tuesday, 14 August 2007 21:35 (nineteen years ago)

He is known to "burst" into song!

Okay, that was horrible.
