The best house club scenes I've ever seen were in the French film Clubbed to Death, which is essentially about clubbing as an escape from mundane life, but it's way more artsy than Human Traffic.

I have always been partial to the crazy italo club in Robocop.

in the simpsons episode where homer moves in with the gay roomates in the gay part of town, there is a scene where he goes dancing in a club to forget about his marge marriage woes that always strikes me as incredibly true to the experience of letting it all go on the dancefloor.
