"When You're Mad" seconded. That's a sorry crop. The Fray's the only other contenda.

"Temperature"

"Temperature" is really underrated I think...and "I'm In Luv With A Stripper" also deserves some recognition. Unfortunately, they're up against "Ridin'," which is one of the best singles of the decade so far and would probably beat most of the winners of any of these other polls in my book.

Also, "Ms. New Booty" is really really bad, and can be salvaged only by Emilys's mishearing of "ORANGE juice, Ms. New Booty!"

Voting for "SOS" because it's wicked. "Walk Away" was a great Kelly track, but it didn't sample Tainted Love.

But "S.O.S." samples "Tainted Love" and does zero with it!

I considered voting for Nickelback as an act of protest, but as they all suck, I feel like not voting at all.

US hitlists are still pathetic while European hitlists have recovered by now. It's about time Americans too discover there are other - and considerably superior and better - genres than R&B and hip-hop.

A year ago, I'd have voted for "S.O.S.," but I'm sort of sick of it by now (it's still played on the radio where I live), so my vote goes to "When You're Mad," since I still love Ne-Yo's elegant chord progressions.

This one's a bit low by recent standards. There's a distinct feeling of leftovers to it. That said, anyone who hates on "Temperature" or "BOOTYBOOTYBOOTYBOOTYROCKINEVERYWHERE" is playing themselves.

"temperature" is my least favorite sean paul single. or rather, the only one that i got tired of hearing.

i kind of want to know why kt tunstall is popular. is she supposed to be a "blues" act? like norah jones is "jazz"? she's like melissa etheridge without the dykeyness or the pat benatar-esque power ballads. which means she's totally devoid of anything interesting at all.

that said, i can't choose between rihanna and chamillionaire.

yeah, i guess ridin isn't wholly disagreeable even tho i think it's kind of annoying & overrated
