this is a bit like saying that gorillaz or, ok, daft punk are lipsyncing. hip hop shows (ok, 'cept the Roots) always run the fine line between backing assisted and outright fakery. the idea of needing to see the real Doom when 1. dude is in a mask, and 2. he plays short, bad shows anyway, is a weird one.
and it's not like, KISS style, you actually want him to take off the mask so that you finally attach a jowly dude with a receding hairline to the music.
