TWO Akon tracks and neither is "Don't Matter?" Too cruel!

Doctor Casino, Sunday, 2 September 2007 08:05 (seventeen years ago)

Voted Avril Lavigne, mainly because there isn't anything better to vote for here. American hitlists have been tragic since the 90s.

Geir Hongro, Sunday, 2 September 2007 09:11 (seventeen years ago)

"Because Of You"!!!!

!!!

da croupier, Sunday, 2 September 2007 12:57 (seventeen years ago)

"Because of You," no doubt.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Sunday, 2 September 2007 13:23 (seventeen years ago)

U + Ur Hand, although Wait For You is excellent. I might have voted for Beautiful Liar if it were the Freemasons Mix, but no such luck.

musically, Sunday, 2 September 2007 16:21 (seventeen years ago)

somebody buy geir a drank.

Emily Bjurnhjam, Sunday, 2 September 2007 16:58 (seventeen years ago)

i *really* like "before he cheats". also, the first 5 songs on this are all quality. dont understand ne-yo love.

johnny crunch, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:02 (seventeen years ago)

3. Kelly Clarkson: "Never Again"
4. Lloyd: "Get It Shawty"
5. Fall Out Boy: "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs"
6. MIMS featuring Rasheeda: "Like This"
7. T-Pain featuring Yung Joc: "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')"

10. Beyonce & Shakira: "Beautiful Liar"

The Reverend, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:36 (seventeen years ago)

huey

and what, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:39 (seventeen years ago)

Great list! I'm leaning towards "Wait For You," just because it's by Elliott Yamin. I completely underrated that back in April, but now I think it's one of the best tracks on radio.

But I probably prefer "Summer Love," "Never Again," and "Girlfriend." Maybe "Before He Cheats" and "U+Ur Hand," too.

Tape Store, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:41 (seventeen years ago)

The realization that MIMS never explained to the Now! series why he is hot crushes upon me.

xp: "Wait For You" is the most obnoxiously saccharine thing there is.

The Reverend, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:42 (seventeen years ago)

That was a mean joke!

Tape Store, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:46 (seventeen years ago)

que?

The Reverend, Sunday, 2 September 2007 17:51 (seventeen years ago)

Uh, Elliott = diabetic

Curt1s Stephens, Sunday, 2 September 2007 18:20 (seventeen years ago)

Carrie Underwood gets at least one vote.

milo z, Sunday, 2 September 2007 18:28 (seventeen years ago)

best one yet i think. get it shawty.

Jordan Sargent, Sunday, 2 September 2007 18:43 (seventeen years ago)

Gwen ftw

tremendoid, Sunday, 2 September 2007 18:47 (seventeen years ago)

is everybody just plain tired of her or waht? the song is hella old yeah but it should still be ruling to this very day

tremendoid, Sunday, 2 September 2007 18:52 (seventeen years ago)

Don't understand love for that particular Ne-Yo song. It is average Ne-Yo.

Average Ne-Yo's better than below-average Ne-Yo, which is what that album's loaded with.

8. Justin Timberlake: "Summer Love"

Don't understand the love for that particular Justin song; it's average Justin.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Sunday, 2 September 2007 19:49 (seventeen years ago)

Don't understand the love for that particular Justin song; it's average Justin.

First off, average Justin >>>> Average Ne-Yo, Average Christina and Average Britney combined

Second, that's one of the better cuts off FS/LS...The synth line is awesome/infectious, and Justin's delivery kicks so much ass.

Tape Store, Sunday, 2 September 2007 19:57 (seventeen years ago)

average Justin >>>> Average Ne-Yo, Average Christina and Average Britney combined

That's irrelevant! We agree, but Justin's still too callow to sell his ballads. And when he writes and sings one as well as Ne-Yo does "Because of You," "So Sick," and "Sexy Love," call me.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Sunday, 2 September 2007 20:04 (seventeen years ago)

I actually own this one. I bought it at a gas station.

marmotwolof, Sunday, 2 September 2007 20:24 (seventeen years ago)

"Summer Love" is average Justin, (hey, it was only number 8 on my list) but as Monsieur Tape Store said, average Justin >>>> average Ne-Yo. And as far as Justin ballads go, "Cry Me a River" and "My Love" are as good or better than "So Sick" or "Sexy Love" (which are both excellent in their own right). "Because of You" is just flat out boring.

The Reverend, Monday, 3 September 2007 07:08 (seventeen years ago)

Are we eventually gonna run out of NOWs?

Christyles, Monday, 3 September 2007 08:20 (seventeen years ago)

"sexy love" is the worst song title ever.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 3 September 2007 08:23 (seventeen years ago)

anyway it's a good song but all those jt singles are better than all the ne-yo ones except "so sick" which is A++.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 3 September 2007 08:25 (seventeen years ago)

Second, that's one of the better cuts off FS/LS...The synth line is awesome/infectious, and Justin's delivery kicks so much ass.
Tape Store, Sunday, September 2, 2007 9:57 PM (Yesterday)

In total agreement. Still voting for Gwen though.

Christyles, Monday, 3 September 2007 08:30 (seventeen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

ILX System, Wednesday, 5 September 2007 23:01 (seventeen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

ILX System, Thursday, 6 September 2007 23:01 (seventeen years ago)

Aww, no more NOW polls until November I guess. We're out of albums (well...I could do the xmas ones, but no one gives two shits).

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 6 September 2007 23:13 (seventeen years ago)

To their detractors, the end of these polls is the sweetest escape of all.

Doctor Casino, Friday, 7 September 2007 04:59 (seventeen years ago)

But their karma will police them - after all, you get what you give.

Doctor Casino, Friday, 7 September 2007 05:00 (seventeen years ago)
