I know there's TONS of shit like this, but I don't know exactly what to call it. I'm looking for stuff that sounds similar to "Quarter to Three" in particular; it's kind of Chuck Berry/James Brown-ish but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. The vocals on "Quarter to Three" are so loud they're almost naturally distorted, much in the same way that BBQ/King Khan record their vocals in the present day, and that's a big part of what I'm looking for. I want to keep it "vintage" though...50s/early 60s I guess.
Anyway, can anyone help me out?

Actually, now that I listen to it, anything on the Quarter to Three album fits what I'm looking for...even the slower stuff.

Certain Otis Redding stuff is like this: "Shout Bamalama," at least. Also, get yourself a Contours collection.
