I say tut tut for including the Blue Monday / The Beach 12" but then, you must have the cassette or something.

I voted for "Age of Consent" because if you hear it, you are most probably going to hear the "Power, Corruption and Lies" album!

But really I only bought this album because of Age Of Consent.

Age of Consent. Would have been a more difficult decision had I noticed Blue Monday, but Age of Consent would have won anyway.

I probably would have voted for "5-8-6" if not for BM

I much prefer listening to 5-8-6 than Blue Monday. Over-familiarity really does dull my senses. It's like a cheat way of hearing Blue Monday afresh.

Kind of torn between old favourite Leave Me Alone and the irresistible pulse of Your Silent Face.

Allow me to join the chorus of "Blue Monday"/"The Beach" bitchers.

"Leave Me Alone". I love the Chappaquadick Skyline cover about as much as the original, but both are tremendous. I'm not sure I know what the lyric is about, but I have my ideas.

Didn't read the thread and voted for "Your Silent Face" in a gut-level moment of spontaneity. Actually, I love this album and if I'd taken a moment to think about it, I probably couldn't have brought myself to single out any one song at the expense of any other. Memories of a cheap Walkman turned to distorted levels and sad market towns viewed through writhing raindrops on the window of a National Express bus somewhere in the East Midlands.

This poll is long overdue. An impossible choice of tracks, and yet my gut still says "Leave Me Alone" for some odd reason. "5-8-6" would have won for many years, methinks. But where is the love for "The Village"?

I'm delighted that Kevin mentions Garbo, though I don't see the connection.

Garbo famously said "I want to be alone." Although she really didn't say quite that (something more like "I want to be left alone"). Given her post-film life, she got her wish. And she would've loved "Leave Me Alone."

hey, mine is Ceremony. Just lately I've really been into Ecstasy from PCL. It's always been overshadowed by the opener and closer, and some other tracks, but it's wonderful.

"Ecstasy" is my fave (I didn't vote here)

Very surprised 'The Village' didn't get a vote here - but I seem to remember it doing fairly well in the artist poll we had on here.

"Age of consent" towers above the rest for me. Really great album though. Second favorite is "your silent face", kraftwerk ascending an escalator to heaven

Had this earmarked for purchase for a while but seeing the details feels a bit underwhelming. Starting to wonder whether I’ll get this

The problem with this (and various other editions like this of late) is the inclusion of the vinyl, which I give not the slightest fuck for. On this front I've been very glad the Prince reissues AREN'T going that route.
