The bands frontman announced that the band would be taking a 'activity pause' on the 20th March 2006 All members except for Anchang have left the band (whether or not this is permanent is not mentioned) and formed a new band/side-project called Elleguns, which released a 6-track instrumental.

As of December 2006, Circuit. V.Panther, Samurai. W.Kenjilaw, and Speed Star Sypan Joe have started a new band known as "Cycle".

Anchang released his second solo album, entitled "Memphis" on February 21, 2007. This album is the follow up to his first solo album entitled "The Maintenance" (released January 28, 2004), which was released under the name "Sex Machinegun".

Yoshikazu Yahiro (born 5th July in Mie prefecture, Japan), better known by his stage name “Circuit V. Panther”, is Japanese Speed Metal band "Sex Machineguns" lead and rhythm guitarist. As he has often said, his stage name was born from the place he came (Mie prefecture, where there is Suzuka's racing ‘’circuit’’), his favourite guitarist (Steve Vai, in which homage he adopted the letter V.) and his look (many people think he looks like a ‘’panther’’, especially when he has pink-dyed hair).

On 26/9/2003 he released a solo album named “Sexy Finger”, which included 6 instrumental songs. On 15/9/2004 “Sexy Finger II” (another 6 tracks solo work) was released.

You'd think it might be possible to get a Japanese music channel on cable or satellite by now, instead of just your dozen-odd variations on the same rotation of ancient Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Foo Fighters vids.

Are you calling me ahead of the curve? I am definitely not... I heard about this band from a giant anime nerd. Hanging out with the wrong crowd occasionally has its benefits but I was also subjected to Malice Mizer or whatever they're called at this point which was significantly less badass.
