This is the thread where you reprimand me for not downloading any of those mixes The Rub did for Brooklyn Radio around half a year ago that were easily available and now no longer are, leaving me having seriously missed the boat. Anyway, does anyone know if theres anywhere in the annals of the internet where they're archived or anything.

They're right here:

I found this last week because I've been listening to these lately and wanted the tracklist. I assume the download links still work, but I haven't checked.

Oh great. Funny, as I checked the rub website for these. . . I must have not had my wits with me. However, I think they went well into the 90's. I was counting on making myself a kind of CDR boxset which 90-94 would have been an integral part of. Unless of course I, again did not have my wits with me and they only went to 89.
Either way, thanks!

I downloaded them a while ago and only saw the ones up until 1989.
If there are others, and you find them, let me know.

I'm pretty sure there were ones from the 90's, too. But I never saved any of them (stupid me). And obv., these are all AWESOME and essential.

I downloaded all of them when the link was first posted here, and unless they added more after that, they only go up through 1989.

can anyone confirm that they went past 1989? that's as far as i ever saw, and googling hasn't found anything to contradict that...

Now all I need is their hip-house mix!
Truly The Rub are a godsend for teenage males like myself who have been deprived of a proper hip-hop upbringing.

get yourself to the local vinyl emporium, tell 'em ILX sent you, they'll know what to do.

I just caught up to these -- incredible. Zshare links on The Rub's site from 1979-1984 don't work at all and 1986 cuts off in the middle. Any suggestions?
