I love love love this new ep on Kranky. It's equal parts Ash Ra Tempel, Harmonia and one of those disjointed Italian acts on Hapna (like 3/4 Had Been Eliminated or Giuseppe Ielasi).
Anyone?

I want Silver Tongued Sisyphus, but cannot find

I've been listening to Harmonia a lot lately too, so great.

I really like requiems der natur 2002 - 2004, but it's not consistently as good as the new one--although “Holy Canyon (Vanish)” is total genius, esp. the use of horns. The two tracks on the kranky release seem more focused and a better refinement of their approach.

Tis great. Heard it a few weeks ago. 1st track Krautwerk was a bad rip though. Heard the proper version finally this weekend.

I just heard this new album today and it was fan-ruddy-tastic. So wonderfully, perfectly krauty. Can't wait for it to appear properly.

This group is getting better and better. I had one of those transcendent moments when I was listening to this for the first time at work and "You & I" came on. Loved Silver-tongued Sysyphus. these guys are doing something special.

This album is more proof that Kranky is one of the most reliable labels out there today...

Lie in Light is my favorite album from this year, I think. Is there anything else that sounds like this? I want more fuzzy neo-electrokraut Boards of CaNeu!da jams.

My friends' band Blank Realm occasionally sound like this I reckon.
They've had a coupla tapes on Not Not Fun. They've a few more things coming out reasonably soon I think too.
