i think a lot of "demo" recordings would qualify for this - the one that comes immediately to mind (which is demo stuff, but officially released) is PJ Harvey's 4-Track Demos, which contains PJ classics from the first 2 records like "Snake" "Ecstasy" "Easy" "Yuri-G" "Rid of Me" "Legs" "Reeling" "50ft Queenie" all done with voice and electric guitar, nothing else as far as i recall.
