i didn't realise she was that old. that makes her 35 in '76, always assumed she was about the same age as the pistols.

Lot of folk around in the early days of UK punk were time-served 60s underground figures.

It may be ungentlemaly to say so, but I think Jayne County was born back in the 50's.

Jet Black and Alan Vega were both born in '38. Who are some other old punks?

On a related note, I remember reading years ago that there is a piece of footage from the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival where a bloke in full punk regalia – mohawk, safety pins, the works – is seen walking through the crowd at one point.

I've never seen it for myself though.
