For some reason, these guys are the default support band of choice for every single noise show in London. They've always struck me as Bower/Campbell knock-offs without any real ideas. Maybe their recorded material is better, but I wouldn't know. Aaron Dilloway thought good enough about 'em to put some of their stuff on one of his Hanson compilations anyway...

yeah, they're not the most original act, but i think drone/noise/whatever has got to the point now where it's okay just to make an enjoyable record without it being startlingly innovate or extreme. i like their style.

Fair enough. There's good and bade noise/drone/whatever. It just hardly gets the pulses racing after the n millionth time. I think maybe my beef lies with lazy promoters...

i had their single-sided lp 'ball of tallow' and it was rubbbbbbish. i can't really add anything more constructive than that because i never even managed to make it the full way through. (needle drops more than confirmed there was no need to). no longer in my possession.
