being lost, this poll...

Mark G, Monday, 8 October 2007 10:06 (eighteen years ago)

I voted for "Here There And Everywhere", although there is so much great stuff to choose from it is almost impossible.

Geir Hongro, Monday, 8 October 2007 11:51 (eighteen years ago)

"Things We Said Today."

JN$OT, Monday, 8 October 2007 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

I'm Looking Through You

Dr Morbius, Monday, 8 October 2007 17:09 (eighteen years ago)

"And I Love Her"

Alex in NYC, Monday, 8 October 2007 17:12 (eighteen years ago)

this is impossible

Here, There and Everywhere

I'm starting to think that Paul's contributions to the others' songs (guitar solo on "Taxman," his loops and suggested drum pattern on "Tomorrow Never Knows," bass on "The Word") were far more substantial than the actual songs he wrote. That said, "I Saw Her Standing There" and "You Never Give Me Your Money" are pretty much untouchable. Just gotta decide.

Rocky Racoon 1

An xtraordinay preference.

t**t, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 23:53 (eighteen years ago)

Hell of a split.

roxymuzak, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 23:54 (eighteen years ago)

Hell of a place for "Penny Lane", rather?

t**t, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 23:56 (eighteen years ago)

indie vote

roxymuzak, Thursday, 18 October 2007 00:21 (eighteen years ago)

I'm said that I missed this. "Here, There, And Everywhere" would've gotten my vote.

But man, there are some great tunes. Paul catches the shit far too often for being a lesser genius than Lennon...just ain't true, IMO.

morningsaystoidleon, Thursday, 18 October 2007 02:27 (eighteen years ago)

I'm lost as to how 'Hey Jude' only got two votes. Is it uncool to like that song now or something?

wateryDomestic, Thursday, 18 October 2007 04:30 (eighteen years ago)

Surprised at zero votes for "Blackbird" (although I voted for Penny Lane after due consideration).

Paul in Santa Cruz, Thursday, 18 October 2007 04:37 (eighteen years ago)

The finished version of "Blackbird" sounds like a demo.

Geir Hongro, Thursday, 18 October 2007 08:36 (eighteen years ago)

WTF, for no one got 0?

Madchen, Thursday, 18 October 2007 11:39 (eighteen years ago)

seems appropriate given the title!

Mark G, Thursday, 18 October 2007 11:39 (eighteen years ago)

There's so many fantastic songs on this and the Lennon poll that got no votes.

nate woolls, Thursday, 18 October 2007 11:47 (eighteen years ago)

There's so many fantastic songs on this and the Lennon poll that got no votes.

Look at the ones who got votes and it makes more sense.

Geir Hongro, Thursday, 18 October 2007 11:55 (eighteen years ago)

Stupid poll
